Injury or Death of a Pet Due to Possible Pesticide Application

If your pet was injured or died due to a possible pesticide application, these are some guidelines that you will need to follow.

Key things to remember are take your pet to a vet for treatment immediately.

Keep track of all the key aspects of the situation, the date, time, what happened in what order while the details are still fresh in your mind. Take photographs of the area, and your pet if possible.

If your pet survives, have the vet run a diagnostic test on your pet, i.e. blood, urine stomach contents, etc. to diagnose the cause of your pet’s injury.
